Introduction to Hazrat Usman Ghani ( RA )

 After the martyrdom of Hazrat Umar (RA), Hazrat Usman (RA) was promoted to the Khilafah.  You were given sustenance and understanding. Hazrat Usman was married to two daughters of The Holy Prophet (PBUH). Therefore, you are called Zawal Noorin.

 The family of Hazrat Usman (RA) was revered and respected since the time of Jahiliyyah.  At the age of 34, Islam appeared. He was a close friend of Hazrat Abu Bakr. Through the efforts of Hazrat Abu Bakr, he converted to Islam . 

Mentioned Hazrat Usman family

 Hazrat Usman Ghani's family was hostile to Muslims and Islam from the very beginning. His wrath was always directed against the Muslims.  Endured severe atrocities.

 Hijrat Hazrat Usman 

Thus, when this persecution reached its limit, he migrated to Abyssinia and Hazrat Raqiyah was with him.  He returned a few years later with the news of the domination of Islam, but after staying in Makkah for a few days, he was ordered to migrate to Madinah and he migrated to Madinah.

Mention of Khilafah Usman

 When the time of Hazrat Omar's departure drew near, he chose six of the Muslims and ordered Hazrat Miqdad to gather these six men in one place after my death and decide on the Khilafah within three days.  The following six men are:

 1- Hazrat Usman Ghani
 2- Hazrat Ali
 3- Hazrat Talha
 4- Hazrat Zubair
 5- Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Rauf
 6- Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas

 After the martyrdom of Omar, these six men were gathered in the house of Hazrat Muqarrat bin Mukhramah. On the last day, Hazrat Saad said that the number of six men should be reduced.  Hazrat Talha mentioned the name of Hazrat Uthman and Hazrat Zubair presented the name of Hazrat Ali and only two nominees were left, namely Hazrat Uthman and Hazrat Ali Hazrat Abdul Rahman said  He pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and asked 'Uthmaan to leave the decision to him. The two companions agreed.  He gave a sermon to the Muslims and then he swore allegiance on the hand of Hazrat Uthman and Hazrat Ali also swore allegiance on the hand of Hazrat Uthman.  Khilafah became possible .

When the Muslims swore allegiance to him, he delivered this sermon.

 I have been burdened with a responsibility which I have accepted. Beware, I am a follower, not a renewed religion, and for you after the Book of Allah Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet about me.  Three things are necessary.

 I follow the first people in which you have agreed and it has become a Sunnah for you .

 And the Sunnah of Ahl-e-Khair in which no party has adopted the method . 

 And forgive you for what you are entitled to. Verily, the world is green and the people like it, and most of the people have inclined towards it.

 Mention in Hadiths

 The hadith says that : 

 Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf narrates that :  The PROPHET MUHAMMAD (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

 Abu Bakr is in Paradise, Umar is in Paradise, Usman is in Paradise, Ali is in Paradise, Tala is in Paradise, Zubair is in Paradise, Abdul Rahman is in Paradise, Saad is in Paradise, Saeed is in Paradise, Abu Ubaidah is in Paradise.

 In another hadith that :

 Imam Muslim and Imam Bukhari Umm Al-Mumineen Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah narrated that when Hazrat Usman Ghani came to us, Hazrat Akram used to correct his clothes .

On another occasion, THE HOLY PROPHET (Saw) Said: Every prophet will have a companion in Paradise. My companion will be Usman Ghani in Paradise.

Marriage and children

 Hazrat Uthman's first marriage was to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) daughter Hazrat Ruqayyah.  She gave birth to a boy named Abdullah, But he died of a deadly disease.  Hazrat Usman Ghani surname was Abu Abdullah.

 After the death of Hazrat Ruqayyah, he married the second daughter of The Holy Prophet , Umm Kulthum.  He died on the same day that the Battle of Badr ended in 3 AH.  These are the names of the women whom Hazrat Uthman married after that.

 Fakhta bint Ghazwan, Umm Amr bint Jundab, Fatima bint Al Waleed, Asma bint Abi Jahl bin Hisham, Ramla bint Sheiba bin Rabia, and Naila bint Al Qarafsatah Al Kalbi.

 Children

 Abdullah Al-Asghar, Amr, Aban, Khalid, Omar, Maryam, Waleed, Saeed, Umm Saeed, Maghira, Al-Mulk, Umm Aban, Umm Amr, Ayesha, Maryam Al-Sughra, Umm Khalid, Arvi, Umm Aban Asghar and Anbata.

 Death of Hazrat Usman 

 He remained in the Khilafah for 12 years and on Friday, 18th Zul-Hijjah-ul-Haram, 35 AH, in a state of fasting, he attained a long life of about 82 years and was martyred with great persecution.

 The bridegroom of heaven

 After the martyrdom, Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) heard The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying in a dream: Surely!  Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) has been made a magnificent bridegroom in Paradise.
