Who is Evangelists :

Among the ten evangelists are the ten lucky ten Companions who were given the glad tidings of Paradise by the Holy Prophet (sws) in this world.

The names of these Companions are as follows :

  1.  Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq
  2.  Hazrat Omar Farooq
  3.  Hazrat Usman Ghani
  4.  Hazrat Ali Al-Murtaza
  5.  Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam
  6.  Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrar
  7.  Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas
  8.  Hazrat Talha
  9.  Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Awf
  10.  Hazrat Saeed bin Zayd


 Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq :

 Hazrat Abou Bakr siddiq was the first man to change over completely to Islam.  The lineage of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq goes back to the lineage of Marah bin Ka'b to the Holy Prophet. His father's name was Abu Qahafa and his mother's name was Salmi.  He was originally from Abdullah and spent his childhood in Mecca. He belonged to a rich family and was considered one of the chiefs of the Quraysh tribe.  Hazrat Abu Bakr used to decide all the cases of killing of the people of Makkah before he converted to Islam.  Payment of the land purchased by the Holy Prophet for the Prophet's Mosque . It was done by Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq . 


 Hazrat Omar Farooq :


 The second caliph, Hazrat Umar Farooq, was born in Makkah in 583 AD. His surname was Abu Hafs and his title was Farooq.  He belonged to the Quraysh family. Before he converted to Islam, he was a staunch opponent of Muslims.  In his youth, Hazrat Omar learned the arts of shahswari, sapagri and wrestling.  He migrated to Abyssinia and converted to Islam.  Hazrat Omar Farooq stayed with the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in all the expeditions. He was also the special advisor of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).  After the death of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him), he became the caliph. He held this position for ten and a half years.  During his reign an area of ​​about 2.2 million square miles was conquered and ten hundred and thirty two cities were conquered.  During his caliphate, Hazrat Omar Farooq occupied parts of Iran and Egypt besides Syria.  He conquered Jerusalem and laid the foundation of Al-Aqsa Mosque in place of Soleimani Temple.  Majlis-e-Shura was established in his time. Police and army department was established.  Ushr was fixed after measuring the land.  A census was also conducted.  Hazrat Omar Farooq (RA) also dug a canal in Egypt.  You turned the treasury into a formal institution.  The year AH was also started.  Among his descendants are Hazrat Abdullah, Hazrat Abdul Rahman and Hazrat Hafsa.  He was buried beside the Holy Prophet (sws).


  Hazrat Usman Ghani :


 Hazrat Usman Ghani, the third caliph, was born in Mecca in 575 AH.  Hazrat Uthman's father's name was Affan Dada's name was Abi Al-Aas and mother's name was Arvi bint Kariz bin Rabia.  Among the ten evangelists were me and you who converted to Islam at the hands of Hazrat Abu Bakr.  They came one after the other in the marriage of Almighty Allah.  Because Hazrat Ruqayyah had passed away and then Holy Prophet gave Umm Kulthum in her marriage.  Hazrat Uthman used to buy a slave every Friday and set him free.  He stayed with the Holy Prophet (sws) in all the battles except the Battle of Badr.  On the occasion of the Battle of Badr, his wife Hazrat Ruqayyah was very ill and could not take part in the battle.  The first memorizer of the Qur'an in Islam is Hazrat Uthman (RA). In Madinah he bought a well called Beer Mawna and dedicated it to the Muslims while he bought land for the expansion of the Prophet's Mosque.  I was ready. The island of Cyprus was also conquered. He was appointed caliph on November 7, 648. He was martyred while reciting the Holy Quran on 18 Dhul-Hijjah 35 AH (656 AH).  He conquered Afghanistan, Turkestan, Khorasan and the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea between Armenia and Azerbaijan.


 Hazrat Ali Murtaza :


 Caliph IV, cousin of Hazrat Pak and son-in-law of Hazrat Ali, was born in the year 600 AH, in the graveyard of Fatima bint Asad from the womb of Haider.  He converted to Islam at the age of one.  He was the first child to convert to Islam.  In Madinah, the Holy Prophet married his daughter, Hazrat Fatima.  Leaving 10 to 11 months after marriage.  In the dowry he gave two mills, a glass, a bed, a sheet and a bed.  Hazrat Ali (AS) gave palm and barley bread at the feast.  He participated in all the battles of his civil life as a leader of the Islamic army.  He also conquered Khyber Fort.  In important political matters, Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Uthman and Hazrat Umar used to consult him.  He wrote the treatise of Hudaybiyyah in 6 AH.  He was also the author of revelation.  After the martyrdom of Hazrat Uthman, he became an ally on 20th June, 656 AH. He became the head of Kufa instead of Madinah.  He was stabbed in the mosque with a poisoned sword. Two days after this wound, he passed away on 21st Ramadan 40 AH.  Hazrat Ali (AS) had pointed out his killer long before his martyrdom.  His shrine is in Najaf-e-Ashraf.


 Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam :


 Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam, two companions of Ushra Mubashra, had converted to Islam in their childhood.  The Holy Prophet (sws) had three relations with Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam.  Husband of Asma, sister of Hazrat Ayesha, nephew of Hazrat Khadijah (RA), cousin of Holy Prophet (PBUH).  When Hazrat Zubair passed away, he left a property of 31.2 million. Each of his four wives received 11,000 dirhams.  In the battle of Khandaq, the Holy Prophet (sws) had said to Hazrat Zubair bin Al-Awwam, "May my parents be sacrificed for you."


 Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas :


 Saad's name and surname is Abu Ishaq and he is known as Saad bin Abi Waqas.  His mother is Amna bint Sufyan bin Umayya bin Abdul Shams. He is the cousin of Hazrat Amna, the mother of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).  In this way you have the privilege of being loved by the Holy Prophet (sws). Before you converted to Islam at the age of 70, Zaid ibn Haritha, Ali ibn Talib and Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq had converted to Islam.  The fourth was a Muslim.  He participated in all the battles and fought the enemies with great bravery and courage. The brave deeds of Hazrat Saad were in the eyes of all the Companions. Therefore, in the time of Hazrat Omar,  When compelled, all eyes were on Hazrat Saad for the post of Commander-in-Chief. Hazrat Umar chose him and gave him the leadership of the Islamic Army  Addressing the army, he said, "O Sa'd, do not be deceived by the fact that I am the uncle of the Holy Prophet, be his companion - the truth is that Allah removes evil with good and not evil with evil."  O Saad, no one has any relation with Allah Almighty. The servant's relationship with Allah is only because of his obedience.


 Hazrat Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah :


 Amir bin Abdullah bin Al-Jarrah bin Bilal bin Ahib bin Utbah bin Al-Harith bin Fahr bin Malik bin Al-Nafar bin Kanana bin Khuzimah Amin Al-Ummah  The tribe of Bani Harith belonged to him. His father's name was Abdullah.  Talha bin Ubaidullah had converted to Islam before he converted to Islam.


 Hazrat Talha :


 Hazrat Talha was born in the year 596, 24 years before the migration of the Prophet - his full name was Hazrat Talha bin Obaidullah.  His father's name was Obaidullah.  His nickname was "Abu Muhammad" and his title was "Fayyaz".  He was the Islamic brother of the famous Sahabi Hazrat Zubair bin Awwam.  Your lands were in Khyber and Iraq.  With an average daily income of one thousand dinars - he died in 40 AH 686 at the age of 64 - at the time of his death he left 2.2 million dirhams and 200,000 dinars which left immovable property, valued at 30 million dirhams.  Was not less.


 Hazrat Abdul Rahman Bin Awf :


 Abdul Rahman bin Awf was a famous businessman.  He offered forty thousand dirhams in cash, 500 horses and one thousand camels for the cause of Islam on various occasions through trade.


 Hazrat Saeed bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said :


 The father of Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid was "Zaid bin Amr bin Nafil".  The 6 Companions included in the ten evangelists attained the status of martyrdom.
